The Holmen Police Department (WI) is proud to announce the award of a $15,000 grant from Our Rescue, a non-profit that works with partners and communities around the globe to provide essential services to people who have been or could be sex trafficked and exploited.
The grant will be used to upgrade the Holmen Police Department's cellphone forensic equipment and licensing—vital tools in today’s digital world that help us investigate a wide range of crimes. From cases in Holmen to assisting law enforcement across La Crosse County and beyond, this equipment helps uncover facts and seek justice.
Technology plays a growing role in modern investigations, and staying up to date ensures we can serve and protect our communities more effectively.
Since 2013, Our Rescue has been on a mission to end sex trafficking and child exploitation by empowering survivors, supporting law enforcement, promoting education & prevention and providing trauma-informed care. Their work spans the U.S. and more than 30 countries.
