Maui's Cold Case Unit Releases Forensic Sketch in Search of Identification

The Maui Police Department Cold Case Unit requests the public’s assistance in identifying a male who was found deceased in the waters off Kahului Harbor breakwater on Sept. 25, 1996.

The deceased male is described as a Caucasian in his late 30s, approximately 5-foot-9, and weighing around 230 pounds. The male was discovered shirtless and wearing gray-colored gym shorts, with a yellow-colored mesh dive bag floating nearby.  It is estimated that the male had been in the water for less than 24 hours before his recovery.
