Kathy Nguyen has been a Criminalist II in the DNA Unit of the SFPD Criminalistics Laboratory for approximately two and a half years. Prior to that, she was a Criminalist at the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab for approximately ten years, performing casework in DNA, latent print processing, and crime scene processing. Kathy received a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from UC Davis, with a minor in Psychology, and a master’s degree in Forensic Science from Pace University.
