Devanshi Desai is currently a Criminalist II at the San Francisco Police Department Criminalistics Laboratory. Devanshi previously worked at the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in New York City as a Criminalist, and at the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences in Houston, Texas as a DNA Analyst. She has also worked at Gene by Gene as a data analyst/research associate. Devanshi holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry/molecular biology from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and a master’s degree in forensic sciences with a concentration in forensic molecular biology from George Washington University.
