Ryan Petta is an IT Analyst for the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. He started with Sacramento County in 2007 at the Department of Technology. In 2011 he accepted a position with the Sheriff’s Office and in 2013 he was promoted to the Cal-ID team. Since then, his team has overseen
the replacement of legacy hardware and software and have replaced it with a modern AFIS, mobile ID and mugshot system.
