A Phoenix infant has died of injuries he suffered after his father bent him in half and pressed on him because he wouldn't stop crying, according to Phoenix police and court records.

The boy suffered a liver laceration, left wrist fracture, laceration to the pancreas and bruising on his thigh in the Dec. 19 incident, according to court records.

Phoenix police and fire officials were called to the east Phoenix home where Robert Resendiz said his 6-month-old son was not breathing, according to court records.
