FEATURED STORY
Forensic Genetic Genealogy Needs International CooperationIf countries do not work cooperatively on an FIGG framework, the forensic community could end up with a fractured system vulnerable to inadvertent legal missteps. Nothing was found to be able to identify the remains or to assist in determining how or why the person had died or how they ended up in the farmer’s field. The LVMPD has arrested the suspect in the murder of 25-year-old Sandra DiFelice, who was found dead in her home nearly 42 years ago. The coffins, then the remains, will be examined to see if they match reports from 1921 that the victims were males buried in plain caskets. |
