Cold Case Program Partners Students with State Police to Investigate MurdersIn an unprecedented partnership, undergraduate criminal justice students at Western Michigan University will receive access to and work on case files from unsolved murders in southwest Michigan. DNA evidence has helped Seattle Police detectives identify and arrest a Seattle woman for the death of her newborn son, who was found in the trash can of a Lake City gas station restroom in 1997. An international team of researchers have identified 50 new genes for eye color in the largest genetic study of its kind to date. The study involved the genetic analysis of almost 195,000 people ... Arriving officers found a total of five wolves dead. The cause of death is unknown. All five carcasses were taken to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife forensic lab to determine the cause of death. |
