Watch On Demand

As forensic laboratories advance to newer and more sensitive instrumentation, it is useful to review how low level STR data is generated and interpreted. A lot of information is currently being released on new methods for statistical processing of data. However, some of these approaches ignore fundamental issues of detection and analysis that must be considered prior to any interpretation. This webinar presentation will focus on the underlying instrumental and chemical factors that affect the appearance of low level DNA samples and mixtures, and will provide tips to attendees on how to appropriately address these challenges.
