The Louisiana branch of the International Association for Identification hosted its 67th annual Educational Conference for crime scene investigators and other law enforcement groups in Shreveport.
During the three-day conference, investigators learned new techniques and saw the latest available equipment for crime scene investigation and identification.
The IAI is the oldest and largest organization dedicated to forensic science in the nation.
"Our main goal is to provide training, low-cost, effective training," IAI secretary/treasurer Chad Pitfield said. "We've pulled some of the best instructors that are available in the state of Louisiana."
