Join a web based discussion panel of forensic practitioners who have adopted and implemented various components of "fast GC" technologies. Each practitioner in the panel has direct experience in their agency with implementing various aspects of "fast GC" technologies. "Fast GC" refers to the use of combinations of H2 carrier gas, shorter smaller bore columns and faster or low thermal mass ovens to increase chromatographic efficiency while reducing run times.
The goal of this event it to provide participants with access to adopting practioners perspectives and hear first hand what has worked and what hasn't in their real world implementations. Panelists will present a brief overview of their implementation and then there will be time for discussion among the panel and questions from attendees.
This course is presented by RTI International, NIJ's Forensic Science Technology Center of Excellence.
