Gov. Rick Scott donned a pair of rubber gloves as he took over the meticulous jobs of several analysts in the Florida Department of Law Enforcement crime lab at the Orlando Regional Operations Center.
Thursday's visit marked Scott's 14th stop in his "Let's Get to Work" campaign, which allows him to spend a day walking in the shoes of various professionals from different backgrounds. In the past he has visited schools, state parks and restaurants.
"The biggest thing for me is having a better understanding of how they do their job," Scott said. "Here are some individuals that clearly care about our state and are making sure if you commit a crime, you're caught."
