Hyperspectral imaging systems collect and process information using the electromagnetic spectrum. Themis hyperspectral cameras have the capability to recognize objects in the visible, ultraviolet, and infrared portions of the electromagnetic spectrum. The spectral “fingerprint” of the object is acquired for different objects or areas and compared to a library of known spectral signatures.
