Richard E. Bisbing
Richard Bisbing is an instructor and executive vice president of Hooke College. Internationally regarded as an expert in the forensic identification and comparison of hairs, fibers, and soil, Bisbing has testified in 21 states and been a pundit regarding the O.J. Simpson, JonBenét Ramsey, Chandra Levy, and Kobe Bryant cases; the 911 attacks; and the 1982 Tylenol poisonings; as well as consulted on CBS’s show “C.S.I.” A contributor to numerous trace evidence books and a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, he serves on the FBI’s Scientific Working Group for Materials Analysis and on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Forensic Sciences. Before Hooke College, Bisbing worked for the State of Michigan for 18 years in the Departments of Public Health and State Police. He can be contacted at dbisbing@mccrone.com.
