Jason Guffey has spent many years as an active professional in the field of crime scene forensics. He is currently Program Director at the American Academy of Applied Forensics at Central Piedmont Community College. Sgt. Jason Guffey is also the Crime Scene Manager of Stanly County Sheriff’s Office, and is supervisor of the CID unit. He has nine years of Crime Scene experience with law enforcement and eighteen years experience as a professional photographer. He managed the forensic studio for CMPD and has experience in photographing high profile cases and major disasters – e.g. the plane crash in Charlotte NC 2003. He also managed the Crime Scene with the FBI, SBI, and other surrounding departments in the Serial Killer Scott Williams Case in Union County Sheriff’s Office.
